To make sure I’m a good fit for you, your first lesson is FREE! I get a sense of where you’re at and what you want to do, and you can decide if I’m the the right teacher for you. Lessons with me are all goal-based, so helping me understand exactly what you want to do is most important. I’ll help you get there!

I can help you master your instrument! Whether you want to to play specific tunes, accompany yourself singing on guitar, get some better blues chops or learn to play in a group, remote lessons can work really well! Pre-teens, teenagers, adults and pairs of all ages are all welcome.
Lessons are entirely goal-based. We’ll start out with a reachable short-term goal- and you’ll be amazed , with a little effort how quickly you can accomplish it! The work you do between the lessons, while important, doesn’t have to be tedious or difficult, and the length of time isn’t nearly as important as the “regularity”. If you can find 20 minutes, three times a week, that works just fine!

I have guitar and uke students across the country, so no worries if you’re not local.
For each session with me, you get a custom-tailored lesson, crafted specifically for your interest and ability. I watch and listen to you play the piece – whether its a strumming pattern, arpeggio, finger-picking or listening to you accompany yourself on your instrument. I offer supportive suggestions for improvement and together we’ll decided on the next steps. Your subsequent lessons focus and expand on the previous ones, always keeping in mind what your goals are. Remember this is YOUR lesson, not mine or anybody else’s. It’s my privilege to help you get to be a better guitar player.
After each session you’ll get an email talking about how we did and what needs to be worked on. It may also include a link to captured session video or supporting materials – tabs, chord charts, lead sheets, etc., that you can use for the “next step” of your plan.
Remember also: this is a journey. I hope you’ll let me help you on your way to realizing your potential as a guitar player!
