Payment types accepted:

Payment:
- Payment for each class/session is due before each scheduled session.
- Students may pay for a single session or multiple sessions at one time.
- Single in-person session fee is $30, single online session fee is $25.
Rescheduling:
- Reschedule your paid session up to 24 hours before the session
- Students must give 24 hours notice to reschedule a session.
- Sessions can be rescheduled 1 time.
- A rescheduled session should be done as close to the original date as possible and preferably within the same week.
- Rescheduled sessions need to be made-up within 30 days of the original scheduled date to avoid cancellation.
Cancellation:
- Sessions will not be credited or refunded if they give less than 24 hours notice.
- Sessions will not be credited if the student does not show up for a scheduled lesson.
- There are no refunds for sessions canceled by the student or for rescheduled sessions that don’t meet the scheduling criteria above.
Credit:
- If Paul needs to cancel a session, the student may choose to either reschedule or to receive credit for that session.
- Paul will make every effort to give students a minimum of 24 hours notice in the event that he needs to cancel a scheduled session.
Refunds:
- Student cancellations are non-refundable.
- Paul will notify you of any unforeseen scheduling issues on his part in a timely fashion and that lesson will be rescheduled to a mutually acceptable time/date. If we can’t find a time/date that works, a credit or refund will be provided.
Instrument rentals:
- Child or adult classical guitar or soprano ukulele are available for a very reasonable monthly rental.
- Please confirm your rental needs before your first session.
- Rental fees vary by instrument and are between $25 and $35 per month.
Guitar / Ukulele:
- A child’s or adult classical guitar or soprano ukulele is available for the first in-person class.
- The instruments can also be rented. Please confirm what you need when scheduling your first session.
- Students are responsible for purchasing their own instrument, and any recommended books, tools or materials for classes.
- Each student should have an instrument to practice with if they continue with lessons.
- It is not necessary to buy a new instrument. If you buy a used one, be sure to have a guitar technician look at the instrument before you purchase it. I can recommend Roger at Clinton Guitars for checking out used guitars, and he also has (new and used) guitars available for purchase.
Practice:
Regular practice is critical to your success! Let’s figure out realistically how much you can practice and when, and talk about a schedule you can stick to. Generally, try to do 20 minutes, 3 times a week and you will see satisfactory improvement.
