About the Music

Musician Paul Elwood, based in Voorhees New Jersey, provides tasteful musical entertainment for your Independent and Assisted Living residents and guests. Your seniors will certainly enjoy hearing and singing along to the music of their younger days! Paul’s repertoire includes standards from the Great American Songbook and features tunes from the days when “jazz” and “pop music” were synonymous. Paul’s musical background:

I’m an avid guitarist and guitar/music instructor! My dad got me started around the age of 16 and I’ve been trying to get better at it ever since (a half-century and counting). I play electric, acoustic & classical guitar, ukulele and accompany myself singing.

I studied at Berklee School of Music online under Boston-based guitarist David Newsam and I perform with Patrick Kerssen and Arturo Baguer as the vocalist/guitarist for the Paul Elwood Trio.

I am truly passionate about playing and teaching guitar!
For me, performing is a way to show gratitude for the wonderful opportunities I’ve been given.
